Identify the survey date, base surface, boundary and units. Make exclusions and inaccessible areas visible in the report.
Keep volume and mass separate
Record any supplied density or conversion factor and its source. Do not insert a generic wet-season adjustment into a project calculation.
Make comparisons repeatable
Keep the source files and calculation version. When comparing surveys, explain any change in the boundary, base surface or method.
